Minnesota Air Exchangers
Air Exchangers
Air exchangers, also known as heat recovery ventilators, heat exchangers or air-to-air exchangers, provide you with fresher air and facilitate improved air quality. These days, most residential and corporate structures are deliberately constructed in an air-tight manner, and are thus, poorly ventilated. Homes and other such structures require a source of fresh air, making the presence of air exchangers indispensible.
Although windows and doors facilitate ventilation, certain elements such as vapors, caulk and thermal windows reduce or stop fresh air from coming inside. Air exchangers help improve air control by replacing the stale air with fresher air.
For homes: The presence of aerosol vapors, cleaning chemical vapors, paints, odor from kitchens, and dust in your home can make the atmosphere inside - undesirable. Superior provides its clients with noise free and safe air exchangers. This ensures a comfortable and healthy atmosphere as it exchanges the polluted air inside the house with fresher outside air.
For offices and other commercial buildings: Indoor air quality can influence the performance of employees and workers. Imagine the presence of damp or stale air or fragrances around you while you are working. Would you be able to concentrate on your work adequately? Air exchangers make your workplace a better place for your employees.
For summers: The summers in Minnesota are hot and humid. Without using air exchangers, the moisture in the air remains inside. Air exchangers exhaust the humidity and the heat inside, while bringing in fresh air from the outside. They also cool and dehumidify the incoming air.
For winters: Through air exchangers, the heat from the exhaust stream is recovered during cold weather. Superior HVAC systems use the existing energy (heat) of indoor air to warm the cold fresh air before it comes in, recovering up to 80% of the energy.
Superior also offers replacement or cleaning of the air exchange filters. It is necessary to keep the intake of outside air free of dirt for a durable performance. Routine servicing is important to remove the grease and dirt accumulated in the system.
